This workshop is all about using simple science and engineering principles to help you avoid construction defects in new buildings.

This course is directed specifically toward management of building construction issues and integrated management systems to solve and prevent problems.

   Topics of this course will include:

¨ Identify potential problems in advance

¨ Design to avoid problems

¨ Collaborate with the general contractor and subcontractors

¨ Benchmark and measure performance

¨ Teach (using the results from the benchmarking and measurements) everyone on the jobsite to avoid defects

¨ Management  of building construction issues

¨ Integrated management systems to solve and prevent problems
