HOW TO AVOID MOLD IN EXISTING BUILDINGS

Cure the cause - not the symptom (or the mold WILL come back!)

Why should you attend?

Mold! It's one of those "four letter words" isn't it? Some instances of mold are easier to deal with than others- but one thing is for certain- people do not like seeing it growing in their buildings! Uncontrolled mold growth can lead to complaints, health problems, lawsuits, negative publicity and all sorts of other nasty things, but why let it get to that point?

This workshop will teach you what causes mold, how to prevent it and how to clean up the mold that you already have.

Participants will learn:
  1. A step-by-step system that you can use to avoid mold issues in your buildings.
  2. What is the biggest factor in controlling a mold outbreak? One factor- what is it?
  3. Why the mold keeps coming back after you clean it up.
  4. The proper way to clean mold, how to tell when the problem is serious and how to prevent building occupants from panicking.
  5. How mold contributes to poor indoor air quality.
  6. How to avoid mold after a disaster.

Target Audience: Building Owners, Building Managers, Architects, Engineers and Building Contractors

Get professional help!

Wynn White, P.E. and Chris White, P.E., LEED AP are experienced professionals who have spent 20+ years helping clients deal with moisture and mold issues. We won't bore you with the details of their resumes, but we certainly encourage you to click here if you're interested.

We only allow a maximum of 12 people at any of our workshops. Why? This keeps the atmosphere relaxed and open, and everyone gets the chance to participate and ask questions. So don't imagine this as a crowded room of people where the presenter stands up front and drones on and on while you shift uncomfortably in your chair. You have full access to Wynn and Chris, and we want you to ask questions, give your opinions, and tell us about your own problems and experiences!

Here's what people are saying about our workshops:

I’m a recent graduate learning every day. I was afraid of missing a day of production for this program- I am glad I decided to attend!

I learned moisture control methods that they didn’t teach me in school and the details/wall sections you gave us are super.

I’ll be able to use what I learned on every project.

Paulo Perkins, Intern Architect

--------------------------

We all want to think that we do well. This program opened me up to lots of ideas I can focus on to improve my buildings.

I recommend this program for any building professional or owner.

Larry Austin, Contractor

--------------------------

When deciding on whether to attend workshops, you always have to wonder if you’re going to hear the same stuff that you’ve heard before. But this one was different- I learned great material that I can actually use on a daily basis. I also enjoyed the interactive format and sharing between attendees.

Bob Caine, Energy Manager

--------------------------

I’ve found that some engineers shoot the moon, giving me recommendations that feel (from a non-engineer’s perspective) out of left field. But WLWCEI is grounded--their recommendations make sense and their ability to communicate clearly and act as a resource by educating us sets them apart. I trust WLWCEI because I need an expert, not just a transfer of risk.

Tim Barrett, Director of Finance
